Above is a portion of the books I need to read next for my spiritual direction training. Good stuff.
I FINALLY mailed my SEPTEMBER print newsletter. With a few days to spare. If you’d like to receive my October print newsletter, send your mailing address to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I had two spiritual direction sessions with clients this week. Even though I met with them via Zoom, I still lit a (cheap) candle before each appointment as a signal that the time and space were set apart for the purpose of listening to how, where, and when God has been present in my clients’ lives.
I have a fancy new headshot that I added to my profiles on my social media accounts. And I have a new fancy author photo that can be found on this website’s homepage. But this is what I look like most of the time. Rosacea and all. Although I have worn makeup a few times this week, which was fun. Maybe I’ll start wearing makeup more often?
And I heard this song that needs to be added to my Hope for the Lonely playlist. Here’s Noah Cyrus’s “Lonely.”
What recent moments stand out to you?
